Trying to pick out one or two things to put on a “must do” list in Greece is almost as difficult as turning into Superman. Presumably, if you’re headed to Greece, you’re headed to Athens, the capital of entertainment and sights. You’re more than likely wanting to see all of the famous Greek sites, like the Pantheon and the Acropolis. If you’re in that group of people, like 90% of the other tourists that go there, the only real way to see it all in a small amount of time is to take a tour.
Taking tours saves a lot of time and although they can get pricey if you’re not careful, they’re well worth their weight in gold. They allow you to see everything without trying to navigate a foreign city on your own. Cab fares get expensive and your legs get tired from wandering around trying to find the next big things to see. Do yourself a favor and take one of Athens’ famous walking tours. You can find great guides for the day to take you around, show you all of the hot spots, and build rapport with you. The Greeks are known for their kindness, and that shines through like a beam of light in their tours. Expect a great time with excellent service as you walk around the ancient city of Greece.
