There are certain events that take place in your life that you know you will never forget. For me, one of those events was my trip to Greece last summer. I went to Greece for two weeks, and I have to say it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The interesting thing is that I spent those two weeks in Greece with my girlfriend, and the reason I say that is interesting is because she is no longer my girlfriend. Although it seemed like we would never be apart from each other during our time in Greece, about six months after we returned, the real world started getting in the way of our relationship, and we eventually had to call it quits.

While some people would be bitter that an amazing memory like a two week trip to Greece also included an ex-girlfriend, I don’t see it that way at all. In fact, my trip would not have been nearly as fun without her. We were young and passionate, and having her by my side in Greece made the world seem like it was a perfect place for those two weeks.
