While the fact that I am excited about the trip I am taking to Greece this summer seems like common sense to me, someone actually asked me last week if I was excited about my trip. When they asked me this question, I gave them a strange look, and then started laughing and said of course I was excited about my trip! Given the fact that I’m not only going to Greece, but going there for a full month, I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t be excited about this trip.
If you are wondering why I am going to Greece for an entire month, it is because I will be graduating from college in May. Fortunately for me, I already have a job secured, which will begin the second week of August. Since I received a very generous signing bonus when I officially accepted this job, I decided to give myself a great graduation present and spend the month of June in Greece. It’s something that I have always wanted to do, and I realized that there is no better time than this summer for me to turn one of my biggest dreams into a reality.
